Our Patron

Paul Elliott CBE MBE

Paul became Ambition's Patron in 2013. The former England international footballer and Chelsea captain, who went on to become a trustee of anti-racism campaign Kick It Out, is helping raise the profile of our work supporting 450,000 young people through our network of diverse youth organisations.

A passionate champion of opportunities for young people, prior to receiving his CBE for services to equality and diversity in football in 2012, Paul was awarded a MBE in 2003 for services to youth football and anti-racism initiatives.

Paul first worked with Ambition as host of our celebratory evening in 2012 launching our new brand, three-year strategy and quality standard for youth organisations, Ambition Quality.
