Darius Knight is the rising star of British table tennis, a Team GB player who competed at London 2012 and a three-time British under-21 national champion. Darius first picked up a bat at his neighbourhood youth club in Battersea, South London. He says the youth club changed his life, engaging him in a positive activity and steering him away from a life of potential crime. Aged just 24, entrepreneurial Darius has established his own branded table tennis merchandise and still finds the time to mentor aspiring youngsters as a Sky Sports ambassador.
A Me B
A Me B is the creative arts ambassador for Ambition. Hotly tipped for a bright future, she has already been nominated as 'Best Female' at the Official Mixtape Awards and supported Tinchy Stryder on tour. Amy says it was the support of her youth workers that gave her the confidence to pursue her dreams of becoming a professional singer. Amy has represented Ambition at a number of high-profile events, campaigning for increased opportunities for young people. She is a fantastic female role model and has worked with Ambition to deliver a series of inspirational music workshops to young women, helping them to produce their own music.
Tim Loughton MP
Tim Loughton is the Conservative MP for Worthing East and Shoreham. He is the former Children's Minister and has made a significant contribution to the youth sector in recent years. In his role as an ambassador for Ambition, Tim has called for all young people to be able to access high quality youth clubs and community projects. He has championed the importance of young people's involvement in making decisions on the issues that affect them and their communities, something Ambition believes all good quality youth work should be based on.
Charlotte Leslie MP
Charlotte Leslie MP
represents the Bristol North West constituency, chairs the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Boxing and is a member of the House of Commons Health Select Committee. Charlotte has an extensive knowledge and understanding of the value of sport on young people's lives. She is currently working with Ambition to help draw attention to the role sport can play in improving young people's health and wellbeing.
