Empowering young people to make positive choices
Skills for Adolescence (SfA) is a character education programme for 10-14 year olds which develops respect, resilience and perseverance, helping children make informed decisions, become active members of the community, develop positive personal relationships and improve commitment to school and academic attainment. SfA was developed by the Lion’s Club International Foundation (LCIF) and is delivered in 90+ countries worldwide, engaging over 12 million children. The programme has been certified Level 2 by Project Oracle a Child and Youth sector evidence body.
Ambition are pleased to be working with eight members in the final stage of Skills for Adolescence (SfA) as we look to develop a sustainable cost effective delivery model to ensure its future provision across the membership. These members include NE Youth, Safe in Tees Valley, Wakefield Youth Work Team, Warwickshire Clubs for Young People, Young Gloucestershire, Young People Cornwall, Youth Options & Bucks County Council.
